Brian Davis, who won The Beer Nut’s 2nd Homebrew Contest, brewed his beer with us on December 21st, 2011. It is now ready to enjoy and can be found on tap @ Peppercorn’s Grille & Tavern in Worcester and at the Horseshoe Pub in Hudson MA.
The official beer description of David’s Black Ale is below.
Charlie’s Black Beer
4.9% A.B.V.
26 I.B.U.’s
German style Schwarzbier. Brewed with Brian Davis the 2011 Metro-West Homebrew Competition winner. We took Brian’s recipe- named after his beloved black lab- and brewed a 300 gallon batch with him. Dark Brown. Roasted malt aroma. Malty palate that fades into roast from two different types of de-husked roasted barley. American grown Liberty hops balance and compliment the dry finish.

I want the beer labels only in my collection, I don´t want to sell them on e-bay.
We appreciate your blog comment, but unfortunately the labels are not for sale.
Happy collecting!
Thank you,
Tom O
Hi guys,
Just wondering if you guys offers tours and/or tastings. I’m originally from Taunton and will be visiting in late March. I’d love to visit and try some brews at the brewery if possible. Also, do you sell pint glasses?
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your post.
We are available for walk-in tours Monday-Friday from 9-5. After you meet Ben (our brewer) and see the brewery, you can head up to Peppercorns for some beers and food.
